About Parker Data Link

Parker Data Link is a small independent studio that builds free games, streaming channels, and privacy-minded utilities — most of them with one foot firmly in classic horror.

What we make

The studio works across three areas that have more in common than they first appear.

Games. We publish browser games that install nothing and start in a single click, and we package the same titles for Google Play and the Amazon Appstore where they fit. They are deliberately small: a solitaire deck with a horror skin, a Connect-4 variant, a first-person descent through a haunted corridor, an endless runner. The aim is a game you can finish a round of on a phone in a few minutes, free, without an account.

Classic film streaming. We operate Roku channels and web players that present public-domain films — horror, science fiction, and vintage cartoons — with a proper catalog interface instead of a wall of thumbnails. These are films whose copyright has expired, which means they can be shared legally and freely. A great deal of early horror cinema falls into that category, and most of it is difficult to find in watchable, organized form.

Software and privacy tools. Alongside the entertainment work we build small utilities, including a private browser front end, a weather app that changes its theme each month, and Secret Vault — a steganography tool that hides a written message inside the pixels of an ordinary photograph, so the image can be shared anywhere and still look like nothing but a picture.

How we work

Everything we publish is free to use. There are no subscriptions, no paywalls, and no in-app purchases. That is possible because the work is supported by advertising, and because the studio is deliberately small — one operation shipping many small things rather than a large team shipping one.

We also try to be careful with data. Our games do not require accounts. Secret Vault does all of its work on your own device and never uploads a photo. Where an app needs a permission, we ask for the narrowest version of it that will do the job — which is why Secret Vault uses the Android system photo picker rather than requesting access to your entire photo library.

The 3D hub

The front page of this site is an interactive hub rather than a conventional menu: a ring of shapes you can swipe, drag, or scroll through, each opening a category of our work. It runs entirely in the browser with no plugins. If you would rather read a plain list, the Network page covers everything in text form.
